Kevin
C. Caraccioli earned his Juris Doctor degree from
Western New England College School of Law in Springfield, Massachusetts
after he received his Bachelor of Arts degree from SUNY Potsdam,
where he lettered in ice hockey.
In
1989, Mr. Caraccioli joined the law practice of Norman W. Seiter,
Jr. as a law clerk and then became an associate of the firm. In
1999, the partnership Seiter & Caraccioli was formed, and a
branch office was opened in the City of Oswego broadening its ability
to serve client needs throughout Oswego County. In
2003, Norman W. Seiter, Jr. was elected to the New York State Supreme
Court, and the firm changed its name to Caraccioli & Associates,
PLLC.
Today,
Kevin Caraccioli is recognized statewide as an expert in the areas
of municipal law, representing a number of county, city, town and
village boards as general counsel as well as in the areas of planning
and zoning. Additionally, Caraccioli has expertise in economic development
and real estate, including municipal finance, as well as regional
planning. He is also a certified closing attorney for the U.S. Small
Business Administration (SBA). Mr. Caraccioli is also an expert
in social services law, having prosecuted child abuse and neglect
matters for more than 20 years in two counties.
Kevin
Caraccioli is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the
Oswego County Bar Association, as well as several other professional
associations. He has served the community in a number of leadership
positions including President of the Oswego County Bar Association,
the Oswego Rotary Club, and Literacy Volunteers of Oswego County.
He previously served as Vice Chairman of the City of Oswego Charter
Revision Commission and chair of the Planned Giving Committee for
Oswego Health. He currently serves as treasurer and board member
for the Erik Cole Dream Big Foundation.
